- 701/702 In-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment knowledge test and practical assignment.
What is involved in studying this course?
During your study you will, learn, develop and practise the skills required to inspect and test items of electrical equipment in line with the latest edition of the Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment.
The certificate comprises of one core unit.

This course will enable you to work for a dedicated portable appliance testing company, this may be part of a maintenance programme. Holding this qualification will enable you to set up your own portable appliance testing company; inspecting, testing and certifying in service equipment.
