Travelling to the Campuses
To make it easier to reach both campuses, we’ve put together directions for travel by the most common methods. The links on the right are useful tools to help plan your journey and there are maps for each campus located below.
Hopwood takes you further with FREE buses to Middleton Campus
The College offers a free bus service for students travelling to and from our Middleton campus from locations across North Manchester. We have eight dedicated bus routes and, with journey times of less than an hour, we get students to college before 9am and home again at the end of the day hassle free. New routes include Saddleworth in Oldham, Norden/Bamford in Rochdale and Tottington in Bury. The timetable for 2019/20 can be viewed HERE.
Our dedicated coaches pick up at any bus stop along the route. All students need is their college ID badge.
If you are not on our free bus routes, but live in the Greater Manchester area, you may be entitled to use the free bus pass - OUR PASS. For more details, click here to view the council's information booklet.
