Part-time Marketing Administrator (Print Services)

PURPOSE
To provide an efficient print and marketing support service
DUTIES
- Operate printer/photocopier and basic finishing equipment such as comb binders, guillotine, stapler, paper drill etc.
- Produce work according to specification and on schedule including the booking in print requests and the packaging and delivery of completed jobs.
- Maintain stock levels of consumables such as toner, staples and printing paper.
- Raise purchase orders and co-ordinate internal recharges.
- Liaise with external print suppliers to source best prices for complex print jobs that need to be outsourced.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure best price on consumables and marketing supplies.
- Raise Purchase orders using internal system.
- Provide printing quotes for both internal client-base and external clients
- Ensure equipment is kept clean and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Ensure all print requests are serviced efficiently in the most cost-effective way.
- Operate equipment safely and in accordance with the operating manuals, adhering to all health and safety procedures.
- Ensure compliance with Copyright rules.
- Service enquiries from curriculum staff both face to face and on the telephone.
- Work accurately, often under pressure, to tight deadlines.
- Record and report photocopier fleet breakdowns, escalating issues to the manufacturer as appropriate.
- Ensure continuous development and improvement of professional knowledge.
- Any other admin support duties, of a similar level of responsibility, as may be required.
- Supporting the Marketing team at college open events as required.
OTHER INFORMATION
SALARY SCALE: £14,173.82 per annum i.e. £23,623.04 pro rata per annum
HOURS OF DUTY: 21.6 hours per week, across three days (or five shorter days)
CLOSING DATE: 25th January 2023
