Advanced T-level Lecturer in the Built Environment
We are looking for a full time Construction and the Built Environment lecturer to join our team based in our state-of-the-art technology centre at Middleton campus. Working closely with our existing Advanced Engineering Technologies Department, we are looking for candidates to take an active lead role in the planning and delivery of the new T level in Construction (Design, Surveying and Planning), delivery starting September 2021. Delivery of the T level will be embedded within our existing L3 BTEC provision in Engineering and the proposed L3 Construction and Built Environment incorporating DEC (Design … Engineer … Construct). A strong knowledge of the construction industry is essential, with a particular specialism in the areas of Building Technology, the Design Process and the Construction and the Built Environment Industry, including Health and Safety and Sustainability requirements.
- To take an active role in the delivery of quality T-Level programmes within the Curriculum area
- To be a champion of teaching, learning and assessment and share best practice across the department, the centre and the college
- To engage and liaise with employers to support the delivery and assessment of the T level content
- To make active links with employers to support students’ work placements

SALARY: £36,540.00 per annum + Recruitment Bonus
