Sajjad Miah

Sajjad is a senior manager with nearly 30 years’ service across the legal and public sector, working in safeguarding, resilience, risk management and community safety. He has worked at both an operational and strategic levels to help organisations anticipate and manage risk, build resilience, and translate policy into practical improvements that protect people and support communities.

Sajjad is passionate about safeguarding and child protection and has previously served as a governor in two educational settings in Rochdale. He also serves as a volunteer for international charities specialising in child protection in fragile global and complex environments. As a Rochdale resident and former Hopwood Hall College student, he is committed to giving back to the community and helping young people achieve their full potential.
