Paul Dixon

Paul joined the Hopwood Hall College Further Education Corporation as an Independent Member in October 2018. He is a qualified Solicitor (BA Law) with a broad spectrum of professional practice and is a Partner at Molesworth Bright Clegg Solicitors in Rochdale, where he has worked since 1980

Paul is the current Chair of #ThisisRochdale, which is a voluntary group of private sector business leaders who have come together to promote Rochdale as destination for business. He has also served as a member of the management committee of a local Leonard Cheshire residential home and is currently a member of Springhill Hospice’s Rochdale Man of the Year Committee.

In addition to being appointed as an Independent Members of the College Corporation, Paul also serves on the Corporation’s Employment & Finance Committee.

Paul’s ambitions for Hopwood Hall College are for the College to develop closer links with local industrial, manufacturing, technical and commercial businesses all of whom recognise the importance of vocational education and training and are keen to employ talented and skilled young people for within the Rochdale Borough.
