Andrea Murphy

Andrea has worked in the post-16 sector for 35 years. The last 15 years of her career were spent as a senior manager in various Further Education Colleges, responsible for quality and curriculum.  

Following early retirement from her last role, Andrea has been working with a range of colleges as a Senior Education Consultant.

As well as being an experienced senior leader within the sector, Andrea has varied governance experience, having served as a Governor at a primary and secondary school and a Board member at a Further Education College. Andrea is very familiar with the Rochdale area and aware of the importance of Hopwood Hall College as an anchor institution within the community.
