DIRECTOR OF EMPLOYER PARTNERSHIPS AND ADULT SKILLS

Hopwood Hall College is pleased to announce that due to the promotion of present post holder we are now recruiting to the post of Director of Employer Partnerships and Adult Skills. We are at an exciting stage of our journey having launched our new Strategic Plan and are looking for someone who can contribute to the ambition we have of becoming an outstanding provider. You will be a key member of the Senior Curriculum Leadership Team and will report directly to the Deputy Principal.

The Role: As the Director of Employer Partnerships and Adult Skills you will play a key role in developing the Employer Engagement strategy for the college. You will liaise with local employers to ensure that the college is fulfilling their training needs alongside building a suite of flexible adult learning courses to upskill and reskill the local community to fill skills gaps in the local and regional area. You will manage the sales team and work closely with the Centre Directors and Director of Apprenticeships to maximise all opportunities for the delivery of adult skills. To facilitate this, we would expect you would have expert knowledge of various funding streams and funding opportunities. You would be comfortable working towards ambitious performance indicators including income related targets and as an external facing representative of the college to promote our values in all that you do.

We expect you to be an ‘outstanding’ practitioner with the ability to inspire and motivate our stakeholders to success. Naturally, we will expect you to have strong leadership skills and proven experience of delivering an innovative, flexible and high-quality curriculum, together with excellent people management skills. The ambition to lead change and actively participate in the delivery of improvement strategies within a fast paced, demanding environment, will be complemented by your ability to work both strategically and operationally.

SALARY: (MS8) £48,004

HOLIDAYS: 35 days holidays (plus additional holiday purchase options)
