Jacqui was appointed as a Governor at Hopwood Hall College in February 2018. Her qualifications include a degree in History and Politics from Salford University, an Open University MBA and professional qualifications in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations and courses in Business Analysis. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Manager Institute.
Jacqui is currently the School Services Manager in the School of Education & Professional Development at the University of Huddersfield, having previously worked as a marketing consultant in the “not for profit sector”, working mainly in Higher Education. Amongst her interests Jacqui lists acting as a volunteer at local CAMRA festivals and she is also a Governor at a local academy school.
In addition to being a Member of the Hopwood Hall College Corporation Board, Jacqui serves on the Corporation’s Employment & Finance Committee, making full use of her experience in finance and human resource management in particular.
Jacqui’s ambitions are for Hopwood Hall College to:
- provide the best education possible that meet the needs of the people of Rochdale;
- continue to challenge itself to do better; and,
- maintain good financial health.
