Shining a light on Apprenticeship Success at Hopwood Hall College

We're delighted to be launching our first annual Apprenticeship Awards Ceremony in 2022. As part of the awards, we look to acknowledge and celebrate apprentices' exceptional contribution to their workplace and the dedicated employers who showcase their commitments, contribution, and the success that apprentices have brought to their organisation.

We will be recognising excellence in two main areas:

  • Apprentices who have made a significant contribution to their workplace.
  • Businesses that grow their own talent with apprentices.

We have 11 award categories which help recognise current apprentices from across all pathways and employers who support our apprentices.

  • Business & ProfessionaL
  • Brickwork & Plastering (Wet Trades)
  • Carpentry & Joinery
  • Electrical Installation
  • Fire, Emergency & Security Systems
  • Motor Vehicle
  • Hospitality and Catering
  • Care Services - Health & Social Care and Early Years
  • Engineering
  • Maintenance
  • Plumbing

There will also be two very special awards for employers including SME Employer of the Year and Large Employer of the Year.

Apprentices who are currently in training or that have concluded their training within the academic year (from August 2021) will be shortlisted by Work Based Tutors and curriculum teaching staff.

The winners and runners up will be announced at an exclusive event for employers, apprentices and their special guests on the evening of Thursday 30th June so be sure to mark this date in your diaries!
