Stuart Marshall

With aspirations of becoming a chef post-studies, Stuart made the most of his lecturers’ lessons and his experience in the College’s Riverside Restaurant and found part time work to further enhance his experience.

After excelling in his studies and completing a Level 3 Professional Cookery course, Stuart started his catering career as a Chef at the award winning restaurant ‘Nutters’, run by celebrity chef Andrew Nutter.

“I enjoyed my time at Hopwood Hall College. I made many friends I still know now and see in the industry and I also learned a lot of life lessons.

“It’s important to take any opportunities that come your way. When you’re in the industry you have to be really open to learning new things. Working with Andrew Nutter has helped me grasp that as I work on all sections and take more and more pride in my work each day.”
