Robert Green

Having been an avid cook since the age of 13, Robert knew he wanted to pursue his passion and promptly joined the College’s Level 2 Catering course, where he would work in the excellent Riverside Restaurant.

Robert credited his time at the College with helping him turn his life in a more positive direction. After failing his GCSEs at school, his tutors helped him use College as an opportunity to break away from the wrong crowds he associated himself with in the past and become a professional chef.

Robert now splits his time working as a sous chef at Camp Swiss in Geneva, Switzerland, and as a Camp Councillor in New York.

“I really enjoyed my time studying at Hopwood Hall College and working in the Riverside Restaurant, it was fun but extremely professional and it prepared me for my career very well.

“Before I came to Hopwood Hall College I wasn’t a great student, but because of the help my tutors gave me I’m now able to go and do these amazing things around the world like working as a chef in Switzerland.”
