Matthew was no stranger to the Riverside Restaurant during his time at Hopwood. This setting – coupled with the guidance of his experienced tutors – quickly transformed him into the perfect candidate to enter the crowded job market.
He’s now the store manager at Costa Coffee – looking after everything from stock control to hiring new staff. He was quickly able to find his feet in this role due to his experience at the Riverside Restaurant.
While studying Hospitality and Catering at the college, Matthew found that the course was full of opportunities – both in and of the kitchen. He was able to gain extra qualifications, speak at college events, attend conferences and sit on various panels.
