- Health Care Assistant at the NHS
- Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship
Josey knew she wanted to work for the NHS, working in one of the UK’s largest organisations whilst making people’s lives better was an attractive prospect.
Her apprenticeship gave her the opportunity to work in different placements across the NHS, giving Josey a good insight into what area she really wanted to work in.
After proving herself in her apprenticeship, Josey was offered a full time Health Care Assistant role at the Floyd Unit in Rochdale.
“I really enjoy working in neurological rehabilitation at the Floyd Unit. It’s taught me not to take anything for granted and that you get out of work what you put in.
“Studying an apprenticeship is rewarding, but it isn’t just about turning up. You need to concentrate, work hard and complete everything on time to be in with a chance of succeeding.”
