Hannah joined the College after studying AS-Levels first. Whilst she enjoyed sixth form, she decided it wasn’t the route for her.
During her studies, Hannah was part of the team that won the Early Years category at the Greater Manchester Skills Competitions. Another personal highlight was the work placement she completed as part of her studies, where she made lots of unforgettable relationships with the children she helped support in their learning and development.
After leaving Hopwood Hall College, Hannah progressed to university with the aim of one day working in prisons to rehabilitate offenders and support their recoveries.
“After first going to sixth form, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Hopwood Hall College after switching. It really taught me to balance my work life with a great social life, they both have an important place but there has to be a healthy balance.
”Because of my studies I now know my career goal of wanting to work in the rehabilitation of offenders in prison the system. My tutors were so supportive throughout and I’ve made some really good friends.”
