Caitlin already had aims of becoming a PE teacher, so joining Hopwood Hall College was purely about picking the college with the best facilities and course to help her achieve her goals.
Her lecturers were impressed at her analytical approach to assignments and she quickly proved to have a strong ability to understand academic work – something that should put her in good stead with her future career.
“Alongside my course, I also played on the Jill Scott Women’s Football Academy. It really boosted my confidence and as well as the work experience opportunities the course gave, it helped develop my ability to coach others. Something I will need if I realise my goal of becoming a PE teacher.
“A tip for assignments I learned at Hopwood Hall, less can be more. So long as your point is relevant, it doesn’t matter how many words there are.”
