Alisia Wilson

  • Special Constable at the Cheshire Constabulary and studied a Degree in Criminology at the University of Salford.
  • Access Level 3 in Public Services and Allied Professions

As a driven individual who wanted the best for herself, Alisia researched colleges in Greater Manchester that could help her achieve her career goals. She found the Uniformed Public Services (UPS) course at Hopwood Hall College consistently produced strong success rates and had the best facilities and campus available.

Whilst working as a Special Constable at the Cheshire Constabulary, Alisia studied her Access Course to enable her to progress up the career ladder, maybe one day becoming a college tutor teaching UPS.

Alicia enjoyed both the practical and enrichment parts in her course and learned a great deal from the variety of units.

“Learning how to write assignments in the correct way has massively helped me at university, most university work is assignment based so I’ve had an advantage over other students.

“Hopwood Hall College prepares you with a great foundation towards Higher Education and towards building your success. My advice to current students is start assignments and essays as soon as possible and have confidence in yourself and your tutors”.
