LEVEL 4 LEADING THE INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE OF ASSESSMENT PROCESS AND PRACTICE Course summary This course is perfect if you’re a practitioner who leads the internal quality assurance process within a centre/organisation and have a responsibility for managing the quality of the assessment process, practice and the performance of assessors. You may also develop systems and lead on visits from outside agencies such as awarding organisations. Course content • Understanding the Principles and Practices of Internally Assuring the Quality of Assessment (6 credits) • Internally Assure the Quality of Assessment (6 credits) • Plan, Allocate and Monitor Work in Own Area of Responsibility (5 credits) There are taught sessions to introduce each module and then the candidate works with the course assessor to complete the portfolio. Location: Middleton and Rochdale Duration: 16 weeks Start date: January 2023 Fees: £294 Entry requirements: It is recommended that you hold an Assessor Qualification and have experience of assessing and quality assuring. Career prospects With relevant experience and qualifications you could progress to lead an assessor team, move into further education teaching or become a training manager.
