Units focus on the creative and technical aspects of TV and film. When undertaking practical assessments, you are expected to perform to an industry standard and use your own initiative to research required topics. The programme is designed to prepare you for employment in the exciting world of TV and Film and its related industries such as audio production, broadcast, marketing and PR. You will also undertake many industry related enrichment visits such as post-production houses, film and TV sets and tours to enhance your learning experience. Career prospects Learners who achieve the HNC qualification can progress onto the second year of a HND or onto the second year of a relevant degree course. Upon completion of the 2-year HND learners can top-up to a full degree in TV film production, broadcast or other relevant subject area. Employment and self-employment in the film and television sector is also an option and is an essential element of the course structure.
