Universities

Hopwood Hall College has strong links with many universities in and around Manchester. The universities validate a number of degree level qualifications offered by the College.


These universities include Manchester Metropolitan University, The University of Bolton, The University of Salford and Edge Hill University.

Manchester Metropolitan University

MMU is one of the country’s most popular Universities. They offer over 1,000 courses and qualifications, many with a strong professional bias and have the highest concentration of postgraduate taught courses in the North West.

The University of Bolton

The university of Bolton has a body of around 11,000 students based on a modern, well-equipped  campus . Bolton’s teaching has consistently won the highest ratings possible from the Government's quality control agency and have professional accreditation for more than 30 programmes.

The University of Salford

The University of Salford has a rich history stretching back to 1896 and has grown to accommodate a student body of 20,000. Just a mile and a half from the centre of Manchester, the University of Salford will be the first organisation to take space at MediaCityUK after the BBC.

Edge Hill University Edge

Hill University in Ormskirk has grown from it’s first intake of 41 students in 1885 to 20,000. It has been recognised as a Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning by the Higher Education Funding Council, and has consistently been awarded Commendations for Teaching and Learning in subject reviews by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) in the last seven years.
