About part-time provision
At Hopwood Hall College, we offer courses in a wide range of subject areas. We hope that you will be able to find something to suit your needs.
In each curriculum area, courses are available at different levels, so whatever your qualifications, you can start at the level appropriate and work your way up from there.
This section of the website contains information on programmes that lead, in the main, to qualifications.
Programmes start at entry level for those who may not have formal qualifications and continue through to degree level in some subject areas.
With such an enormous range available, we know how important it is to choose the right course, so we have qualified and experienced staff to guide and advise you.
People who come to college do so from a variety of backgrounds, and we welcome all people equally. Many of our past students have joined us without any formal qualifications and have gone on to university. Examples of our college community include:
- People at work who wish to develop their careers through further qualifications or by gaining new skills
- Women returning to work who wish to update their skills or gain new ones after a break to start a family
- Unemployed people who are trying to gain further qualifications or new skills to re-enter the jobs market or to enter higher education
- People whose first language is not English who are improving their communication skills in English
- People with learning difficulties and disabilities who are gaining vital skills and knowledge to become independent members of society
