When Holly started at Hopwood Hall College in 2009, aged 16, she knew that she wanted to teach Sport in colleges.
She enrolled with the college’s Football Academy and studied a BTEC in Sport before going on to complete a Foundation Degree in Sport with Hopwood Hall College, a Degree with Manchester Metropolitan University and then a PGCE at Edge Hill University.
Holly completed her PGCE placement at Hopwood Hall College teaching and coaching learners at our Middleton campus and at Manchester City Football Club’s Etihad Stadium.
“I had to work hard to complete all of my assignments alongside football training and coaching. It hasn’t been easy but it has definitely been worthwhile and I am very grateful to Hopwood for all of their support.”
Holly joined Hopwood Hall College as a Football Coach and Football Development Officer, she also runs her own ladies football club (the Curzon Ashton Football Club) and is a first team member of the Crew Alexander Ladies Football team.
