Maryam Rana is currently studying a BTEC Diploma in Business at Hopwood Hall College. In becoming a student governor Maryam feels she is contributing to positive changes for other students and shaping the college experience for the better.
Maryam was born in Canada and lived there until she was 13, when she moved to England with her family. In her spare time she is a Ranger and also a young leader for Rainbows. Maryam has a passion for fashion and plans to do a course Fashion Retail. Her ultimate dream is to run her own business specialising in design in the future.
