Governor Types
The Board of Governors is made up of different types of members. They are;
Principal
The Principal, Derek O'Toole is the Chief Executive of Hopwood Hall College.
Clerk to the Corporation
The Clerk to the Corporation's role involves looking after the legal affairs of the Corporation, and advising them on the propriety of theiractions, in line with government standards.
General Members
Generla Members of the Corporation are made up of people from a wide range of businesses and industries, who wish to have a positive impact on the way the college's business is handled. The term of office varies depending on which committees an individual governor sits on.
Staff Representative
The Corporation includes two staff representatives, voted for by members of the College's staffing body.
Student Representatives
The Corporation includes two student representatives, voted for by the College's student body.
