The Equalities and Diversity Steering Group is responsible for promoting, monitoring and reviewing work in relation to equality and diversity and the Single Equality Scheme, and for evaluating its effectiveness. It is also responsible for promoting, reviewing and monitoring the development of community cohesion activity across the College. The group’s role is to provide an integrated, proactive approach to monitoring, challenging, influencing and changing the culture of the College with regard to equality and diversity, to advise SMT and the Corporation.
